    Gentle Yoga & Meditation

    Yoga+Meditation 

    Yoga Meditation starts with a series of gentle yoga postures. The poses are performed to help detox your body, improve flexibility and balance. This class is great for students new to Yoga, healing a specific body part, or returning after COVID19 induced fitness break. Meditation focuses on a different format in each class. Enjoy the meditative state of mind as you move through the sequence. We recommend doing this class twice a week to deepen your yoga practice.

    Yoga Flow 

    Yoga Flow is an advanced flow sequence performed with upbeat music. It warms up the body with Sun Salutations, builds strength and balance through standing poses, focuses on core engagement, and connects each movement to breath. Our flow is just as focused on transitions between the poses as on the proper alignment in each pose. All sequences are different and warm up the body for a specific peak pose.

    Mariana Danilovic brings over 15 years of dedicated experience as a Group Exercise Instructor and Private Trainer to her clients, offering a deep commitment to promoting wellness and longevity through physical fitness. Based in Malibu, California, Mariana's passion for fitness is matched by her expertise in a wide range of disciplines, from high-intensity interval training and neuromuscular training to yoga and mindfulness practices.

     

    Professional Expertise

    Mariana specializes in TRX and strength group exercise, focusing particularly on neuromuscular training to enhance athletic performance and everyday functionality. She is an experienced yoga instructor, holding a 500 Hour Teacher Training certification from YogaWorks, where she taught various classes including Yoga, SculptWorks, BarWorks, and Pilates Mat. Her approach integrates physical exercise with meditation and mindfulness, ensuring a holistic path to wellness.

    Her fitness certifications are extensive and include Stages and Schwinn Spin certifications, NASM and AFAA private training certifications, and expertise in R.I.P.P.E.D. training methods. Mariana's versatile fitness programs cater to all ages and skill levels, from junior athletes to seniors seeking strength and mobility training.

     

    Current Roles

    Mariana currently serves as a Private Trainer at Bel Air Bay Club, where she designs personalized training regimens focused on achieving specific wellness goals. She also continues to inspire and lead at The Jonathan Beach Club as a Group Exercise Instructor and Private Trainer, known for her dynamic Spin, TRX + Strength, and Yoga classes.

     

    Education

    Mariana holds an MBA from the Anderson Graduate School of Management at UCLA, and a BA in Mathematics from the University of California, San Diego, where she also pursued minors in Biomedical Engineering and French Literature. Her academic background supports her scientific approach to fitness and her ability to innovate and adapt exercises to meet the evolving needs of her clients. Mariana played NCAA Volleyball and was the founder and captain of the intercollegiate Lacrosse team at UCSD.
